Emily Grace
BPsych (Hons), BA, GradDipEd, MProfPsych
Originally training as a primary school teacher, Emily came to study psychology later in life, after discovering its benefits for herself in healing her own trauma. Emily has always been fascinated by people and awed at the innate drive people have which compels them toward seeking to heal. Over the last seven years, while juggling stay-at-home mum duties, Emily has been working towards qualifications to practice as a psychologist. Emily is currently provisionally registered as a psychologist in Australia. Emily loves enjoying nature, walking, dancing, and spending quality time with her family.
Emily’s Approach
Emily believes that the relationships we have in our lives, reveal a lot about ourselves. The way we relate to people can be impacted by many factors, including our childhood history, significant life events, attachment style, personality, temperament, communication patterns, and core beliefs about ourselves and the world. Exploring how these factors are impacting our current relationships, is the work to be explored for individuals in the Heroes Circle. When we have experienced wounding in our past relationships, healing these experiences must also occur in relationships. The relational dynamics in a group like the Heroes Circle, offer a safe place for this relational exploration and healing to occur.
Note: Emily's Circle is meant for women only.
